Audrey Pablo Picasso Art Final drawing

 We begin our cubism portraits based on Picasso cubism art. in cubism you can play around with lots of shapes. The facial features like you eye,nose,mouth and ears can be different shapes and places. Audrey Legend of Ki-O-Rahi

We have played Ki O Rahi and we have been working about the legend of Ki O Rahi. Rahi married a beautiful girl named Ti Ara. The Patupaiarehe visited the village that Rahi lived in. The Patupaiarehe took Ti Ara and Rahi tried to save Ti Ara. He had to go through some obstacles which are positions in the real game. The name f the obstacles are Tupu , Te Roto, Te Ao,Nag Pou, Pawero, Te Ara,Te Marama and Te Wairua. The teams are kioma and taniwha, Kioma is the team that runs and touches the poles and then g to the middle and score a point, taniwha is the team that try to hit the tupu and score a point but there are protectors to try and stop the key (Ball) to hit the tupu. I think that this game it great and that it i really productive and make you body moving, i know that you will love this game. I i think you will love this this activity I Everly, Meela , Sani , Audrey Jasma Solomone and I. We read the story behind Ki O Rahi and we read 3 parts each and rewrite it in our own words. On this week we were doing International Women’s Day and on our International Women’s Day work we were doing Activity 2 which was a book and a card. on the card it said to do What is the writer’s main message,List three achievements of the remarkable women who are mentioned,What stereotypes have you notice, Do you think these women may have experienced similar problems and What problems do you think might arise if Monique continues to believe gender stereotypes.what I found hard was nothing. and what I found easy was all my work. so here is my International Women’s Day Activity 2.

Soul friends mass,St Patrick day and ash Wednesday

Today for saint Pius X we had a very special mass. This mass is special because we celebrated three important occasions for our school. They are,St Patrick day, soul friend and ash Wednesday. As we journey in the fourth week of lent, today we honour St Patrick who is the patron saint of the Irish people and the holy faith sister who starter` our school, more than sixty years ago, who were from Ireland,they brought with them the beautiful idea of soul friend. in the early Irish church people chose someone wise to be their soul friends. this friends is a person they can talk to and share their experiences in life. they seek his or her advice other. they make a commitment to do this yet live their own life separately. we model this relationship in our school. it was introduced to us by the holy faith sister who started students look out for the younger ones and vice versa. we had ash Wednesday ashes today because It was the practice in Rome for Christian sinners to begin their period of public penance on the first day of Lent in preparation for their restoration to the sacrament of the Eucharist.Worship services are also held on Ash Wednesday in Anglican, Lutheran, and some other Protestant churches but when we got our ash we were in lock down. St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland Patrick was Irish.Patrick didn't make his way to Ireland until Irish pirates kidnapped him at age 16. From there, he started his journey to converting the Irish to Christianity and becoming an Irish patron saint and that how he got his name.

Rossa Because they raced on Wednesday to see who was going to win. 2) The key event from the news article is about the America's cup too see who win the America's cup and take it home 3) The event took place in Auckland in Zealand at Waitemata Harbour. 4) This event happened on 2021 the 10 of march to see who won because new Zealand won in 31 seconds and the Italian team, captained by Jimmy Spithill came back in the second, leading from start to finish to win by 7 seconds. interesting facts about the America’s Cup 1)race taking place in Cowes in 1851, Britain has never won the “Auld Mug”. 2)The USA has won it 28 times, New Zealand three times, Switzerland twice, and Australia once.

Cubism Drawing Art 1#

Yesterday, the 9th of march Te Wairua Pakiki4(TWP4) did some art that is based on Pablo Picasso's Cubism art. Pablo Picasso is a great artiest he make alot of Cubism art and he die of old age or sicks and he grew up in Barcelona, showing artistic talent at an early age. In the early 1900s, he moved between France and Spain before finally settling in Paris in 1904.so here are some of his art work. in cubism you can play around with alost of shapes. The facial features like your eyes,nose,mouth and ears can be in different shapes and places. Our teacher said "Cubism is that it look as if the painting dropped and cracked, and was rearranged when put back together". when we looked at the picture we noticed that we got to make the mess in to a pices of art. After our teacher demonstrated and we saw lots of examples it was our turn to draw Step 1:In pencil, draw your head, any shape will work. You can use a mirror or draw from your\imagination.Step 2:Add your facial features, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Try to use shapes you noticed in your discussion.Step 3:Add your hair. What lines can you use to look like hair?. so here my photo.

International women's day

on the 8th of march was International women's day. In class we did an activity to challenge the stereotypes and bias of both male and remale role within our society. We first had to get into same gender groups. we then wrote down the positives and challenges of the opposite gender. the boy wrote about the positives and challenge for females and the girl wrote about the positives and challenge for being male After we came up with some ideas in our group we then joined our groups with the opposite gender. something we noticed that the two lists were very different. women had more challenges. for example women had lots of challenges around the expectations of raising and get to sleep in and are father. We also said that a challenge for a male is that they have to provide for the family and have to always be brave. something we learnt from this is that male and females aren't considered equal in lots of aspects of life here is our activity we did.

Today I fond this easy and hard be the thing I like it about was the math.here is my activity and Math starter and activity - Up to one Hundred Today for maths I completed a math starter and a numbers knowledge activity. Today during our morning distance learning meeting we found out that this week is the Great big hearing check 2021 week. Triton hearing is running a fundraising event and awareness campaign.

this march,  Triton hearing is checking your hearing for free to help and it 1 dollar to donate to the poor  in the Great big hearing check 2021 I like the hearing test but then some time I cannot hear it.
